Making a List, Checking it Twice

Making a List

Y’all! How does “J. Keely Thrall, USA Today Bestselling Author” sound? Pretty awesome, right? (I mean, to *me* it sounds like a dream come true!)

When one of my morning writer pals suggested that a group of us participate in an anthology aiming to hit the newly returned USA Today’s Best-selling Booklist, I was like, Sign Me Up, Scotty! Now eleven of my writing besties are joining a hunchabunch other authors to bring you a fantastic beach read next summer.

Why the long tail before you get the tales?

Because hitting the list is all about the pre-orders, baby.

So this is me, asking pretty please – with sugar or your sugar substitute of preference on top – to do me and my writing crew a solid. Preorder the heck out of Craving My Roommate. At 99 copper coins, it’s kind of a steal! (And, hey, if you *really* want to be a ride-or-die buddy on this journey up the charts with me, consider ordering on more than one platform!)

What’s my story about? The One That I See is a contemporary romance featuring two roommates working through a teeny, tiny (read: huge and life-changing) misunderstanding… with a wardrobe malfunction involving a Princess Leia-style gold bikini. (Hit reply and let me know if you're intrigued!)

Checking it Twice

The One That I Want is going through a final round of proofreading to get it in tip top shape for you. Yay!

Once I get it back, do the formatting, uploading, etc., I’ll send another newsletter with the (very pretty) cover and a pre-order link. This pre-order period will be much shorter (like 10 days maybe?), so good news: less time to wait before sinking into the hot, funny goodness that is Connor and Keira’s kooky, k-i-n-k-y courtship.

Here’s what Keira has to say:

I like control. Hand me a man’s tie, and I’ll put it to good use. But when the nice guy I’m hooking up with pushes for more and I cut the knots loose? He shows his stubborn side, unwilling to give me up. With each heated encounter I slide deeper into the fantasy we’re building, one where we have a future together. Now I’m hanging onto control by my fingertips. And all I want to do is let go.

Naughty and Nice

Over three hundred authors – including yours truly – have signed up to take part in Isn’t It Romantic Book Club’s Fall Into a Book Giveaway on Facebook happening September 22 and 23. This is a fantastic and fast-paced event with the chance to meet authors, play games, and win lots of pr!zes, including books, gift cards, and swag. Join the group and mark your calendar. It’s my first year participating and I *can’t wait* to see you there!

Ciao for now, lovies, and thanks for being here,

Keely
